Danielle Woods

DipOMP/DOMP, RMT, BA(Hon)

Danielle graduated in 2019 from the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. She is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DipOMP/DOMP), and is covered by extended health plans with osteopathy coverage. Her school is one of the few that is recognized by insurance companies.

She graduated in 2004 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, after having completed a Bachelor of Arts (honours) degree from the University of Guelph. While still a student of massage therapy she began taking extra courses to better understand the body and ways to treat it, studying both aggressive manual therapy techniques like Active Release Techniques, and learning about the energy system in the body through studying Reiki and shamanism.

Danielle has always been driven to understand the inner workings of the body and how the different systems interact and affect each other, because so often the area of pain or dysfunction isn’t the origin of the problem but is the final area where the body can’t compensate any longer.

Because of her broad scope of practice, she can work with each individual to find the treatment options that are best suited to them. Every individual requires a different approach, because we are a unique balance of physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive systems.
