Erin is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She obtained her BSc in Human Nutrition from St Francis Xavier University in 2006, Dietetic internship also from St Francis Xavier University in 2007, and became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2009. Erin is also a certified Craving Change facilitator.

With over 11 years experience working with people to help them achieve their nutrition goals, Erin has a breadth of expertise including: Diabetes management and prevention, Heart healthy eating, weight management, mindful eating, digestive health, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, Healthy eating for your genetics, and general nutrition. Erin is passionate about working with clients to make dietary changes that fit within their current lifestyle. Together we will complete a comprehensive review your current health status, medications/supplements, family history, lifestyle, eating patterns, 3-day food record, and any other relevant information. Once completed, we will develop an individualized goal and action plan to meet your needs. Follow-up appointments are available to review your progress towards your goal, make changes if necessary, to your action plan, navigate around roadblocks, and continue with additional education if required.

Nutrigenomix Genetic Testing:  

Nutrigenomix is a simple genetic test using your saliva that will help me create personalized nutrition recommendations that are based on your DNA. The Dietitian will see you for an initial assessment where the salivary sample will be collected.  Sample will be sent to the lab for analysis and upon receiving the report the dietitian will meet with you to review your results and provide specific recommendations based on your genes and current lifestyle.
